Onset Armouring and Firearm Provisioning

ProServ is licensed to acquire, transport, supply, and handle a variety of weapons and props for your film or theatrical production. This includes but is not limited to fully automatic weapons, semi-automatic weapons, carbines, handguns, and prohibited edged weapons. Reasonable notice is required to identify and ensure that we can source or supply exactly what you need. Note that requests for more obscure weapons or firing systems require greater time in sourcing.

Technical Advising

Our team can provide hands-on technical and tactical consultation in both the onset environment and also in studio, on a one-to-one basis if requested. Our instructors have Police and/or Military experience and can provide direction with respect to procedure, movement, tactics, dress and deportment, as well as weapons craft for multiple delivery systems.

Weapons Consulting

We work closely with Producers and Film Makers to appropriately appoint certain weapons to stories. Period piece films, police and military, and gangster genre films alike all require different weapons for consideration. Let us help you choose the right weapon for your upcoming film project. We would also be happy to attend any pre-production meetings.

Tactical Training

Our personnel are experienced and certified in multiple disciplines and are prepared to provide hands-on, group, or individual training regarding weapons craft, tactics, movement, and procedures. Our focus is to realistically portray weapons handling while also ensuring that it is conducted in a safe manner. Our skill sets include, but are not limited to fully automatic weapons, semi-automatic weapons, carbines, handguns, and edged weapons.

Transportation
and Gunsmithing

We are certified and experienced in the repairs of multiple weapon systems including fully automatic firearms. If you require an immediate repair on set, we can do an onsite assessment and accommodate most common issues that can arise. If a more detailed repair is required for a real or prop firearm, we are fully licensed to transport and repair most equipment.

General Inquiries

Inquiries are also welcome from props and wardrobe departments with respect to equipment selection and attire, in addition to the proper technical configuration for tactical performers.

Our former Law Enforcement and Military Operators have certified with multiple accredited agencies who provide training and development exclusively to serving armed professionals attached to either a Police Service or an operational Military Unit. Operators have attended exclusive courses provided by SIG Arms Academy, Colt Canada (Diemaco), GLOCK Professional Inc., Smith & Wesson Academy, and GPS Defense Sniper School to name a few. In addition to ongoing certification and personal development, our staff have undergone extensive in-house training via their former employers and have been validated in various disciplines as GOVERNMENT CERTIFIED INSTRUCTORS.
